Wimmer’s Smoked S/S Bone In Ham
Wimmer’s “Heart-of-the-Midland” Bone-In Hams are hardwood smoked and fully cooked.
Freezing/Refrigerated: Keep Refrigerated or Frozen.
Baking Suggestions: We recommend an oven temperature of 325° F for about 10 minutes per pound, or until your meat thermometer registers an internal temperature of 130° F.
At this point, you can make your ham more memorable by scoring and glazing it. Remove from the oven, score the fat, and push a whole clove in each square. If you like, maraschino cherries, pineapple slices or citrus segments can be added with toothpicks. Then pour on the glaze. Let the ham stand for about 5 minutes, then brown in a 400°F oven for 15 minutes, basting it several times. For easier carving, let the ham rest for 15 to 20 minutes after taking from the oven.
