Bologna Cheesewiches

1 lb. Wimmer’s Bologna
2 medium dill pickles
½ cup catsup
¼ cup barbecue sauce
12 slices American cheese
12 hamburger buns, split
Butter or margarine

Put bologna in pickles through food chopper or blender. Ad catsup and barbecue sauce and mix. Butter bun halves completely to edges. Spread bottom halves with bologna mixture, lay on cheese slices and cover with tops. Wrap individually in foil and freeze. Heat by placing frozen sandwich in 4000 oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Sandwiches can be thawed in refrigerator and eaten cold. Makes 12 sandwiches.
Microwave: Toast bun halves before spreading with butter. Place sandwiches in plastic bags and freeze. Microwave by defrosting sandwich for 2 minutes and then cook, uncovered, about 45 to 60 seconds.
Wimmer’s New England Sausage may be substituted.
