½ lb. Wimmer’s Little Smokie Links
2 firm bananas, medium size
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
8 strips bacon
Simmer sausage about 5 minutes. Slice each in half. Cut banana in slices and dip in pineapple juice to prevent darkening. Combine sausage, fruit and bacon on skewers. Grill until sausage and bacon are browned. Makes 8 hot appetizers.
Wimmer’s Summer Sausage, cut in 1” cubes, may be substituted.
